Maybe it’s better to conceal in the shadow of a fabricated truth.
Perhaps distorting the accounts a little bit to fit to the tale’s already shaky foundations is enough.
Maybe indiscriminately reciting rehearsed, scripted verses of constructed stories would suffice.

Then you realize that lying is just a convenient excuse for cowardice.
